Great read-can't put it downDenise Sherman, Avid Reader

This book is a treasure....an affirmation of life.Amazingly, what I felt as I was immersed in the world of infant intensive care was not pity, but wonder at the strength and dignity of us all...the babies, the parents, the caregivers.
When I finished reading I was surprised not to feel sad. As I turned back to reread it, I realized Baby Hands & Baby Feet is a powerful affirmation of life.
Insightful

...and he's forgotten??The book reads easily, flows well and the author doesn't bog you down with unimportant details. I recommend this book to anyone with a mild-to-high curiosity about the Indian Wars and the history of the American Southwest in the late 1800s.
"Bad Hand" Worthy of Remembrance

The one book you need!
Mastering the Art & Science of Foot (and Hand) Reflexology.Mr. Byers draws on his years of close, personal work with his Aunt Eunice Ingham (a practicing nurse), her notes, her correspondance; as well as, his own experience as a practicing reflexologist, scientist, teacher, and lecturer as matterial this dynamic text. What makes this such an awsome book is that he not only covers time-proven, accurate methods of foot reflexology, but also anatomy & physiology which is such crucial knowledge for anyone interested in holistic medicine. I have not seen such adequate coverage of anatomy in any other volume, as it appears here. In addition, Mr. Byers takes an uncubersome scienticic approach, coupled with an easy reading, easy comprehending writting style, with plenty of clear illustrations which makes it a perfect for practitioner and layman alike. He leaves nothing to the immagination. Though I have one copy already, I intend to purchase another for a backup -something I've never done with any other book. It is that good!!!!!!!
Please, please, please buy this book, you won't be sorry!!!

Not just for little hands...Two sets of rules are included: the "Milk and Cookies" rules for bigger battles (where a player controls blocks of troops) I have used for games at several wargaming conventions in games for kids and parents-new-to-wargaming with great success. The "Blood and Swash" rules are a reprint of an older rule set for skirmishes (where each player controls a small number of figures) that allows great flexibility in scenario and setting - I have played in games using those rules for 18th century pirate tavern brawls on up to Buck Rogers era conflicts, and enjoyed them all. The differences between the rule sets make having both here far from redundant, and the apparent simplicity of both the rule sets does not mean that the resulting games are either uninteresting or inaccurate.
The back of the book with directions and tips on painting and terrain construction are okay, though I liked the front portions - described above - better. For example, I don't see myself ever homecasting figures, and the painting tips I had already heard as I was first drawn into this hobby. But they complete the picture and make this a good all round reference that you could even send to someone unfamiliar with the hobby and expect them to be able to cope without the support of a local wargaming group or club.
Just what I was looking for...

An excellent overview
